Store Policies

The Random Harvest website is meant to be a “window” into our stores, showing samples of the furniture and accessories we carry. Due to the rotating nature of our inventory not everything will be in stock at the same time. We invite you to visit our showrooms and get a personal view of the merchandise before you purchase.

Accessory Returns

Accessories are returnable for full refund for 7 days from purchase. Please note that large prints are final sale.

Furniture Returns

Furniture pieces, including large mirrors are returnable for store credit only within 7 days from date of purchase. Please note that special orders are final sale.

Holds

Random Harvest will hold any item until close of business the following day. Second and subsequent holds will be until close of business the day they are contacted.

Furniture Delivery

Random Harvest uses and recommends Heirloom Express for local furniture deliveries. We will be happy to initiate contact and help facilitate your delivery. Their standard charge for an average size piece of furniture is $95-$125, second and subsequent pieces of similar size are $60 each. Larger pieces range from $110 to $165. These are prices for the immediate DC area, and areas further out require a quote.  We also work with shippers who can deliver all over the country. We will also be happy to work with any delivery company you should select.

Customer self-pick up of furniture

While we strongly recommend professional delivery, we understand that this not always possible, and some customers must pick up their own pieces. All customers picking up must bring enough manpower to bring the piece to their vehicle and the proper wrappings, blankets and rope to get it home safely. Because of severe lack of storage all pieces must be picked up within 1 week from date of purchase.

Discounts

Random Harvest is pleased to offer a trade discount to professional designers. Please inquire at one of our locations for program requirements.
